October is ADHD (attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder) awareness month. ADHD is a serious public health issue. ADHD is a non-discriminatory disorder affecting people of every age, gender, IQ, and religious and socioeconomic background.
Long ago just about every mainstream medical, psychological, and educational organization in the U.S. concluded that ADHD is a real, brain-based medical disorder, and that people with ADHD of all ages and backgrounds benefit from appropriate treatment.
We will be providing valuable ADHD resources throughout the month.
