Dr. Charley Zimmerman is a Psychologist Resident under the supervision of Dr. Ethel-King. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from San Francisco State University and his Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Pacific University. He also holds a Doctorate of Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) from Pacific University and is currently pursuing licensure.
Dr. Zimmerman has provided mental health services to a wide range of clients in a wide variety of settings. He has worked with children, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations in universities, integrated care clinics, and private practice settings. Additionally, he has experience providing couples counseling and psychological assessments.
Dr. Zimmerman takes an integrative approach to therapy, and focuses on developing a therapeutic relationship that helps clients develop awareness and insight into their experiences, as well working to develop concrete strategies for addressing concerns. He can work with a wide range of concerns including, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and recovery from trauma, and has treated clients with a wide range of racial and ethnic backgrounds. He also has training and experience working with LGBTQ clients.
When not at the clinic Dr. Zimmerman enjoys being outdoors, hiking, camping, and spending time with family and friends
