Claire received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Development and Family Science from The Ohio State University in 2012 and her Masters in Occupational Therapy from Chicago State University in 2018. She is licensed in the state of Oregon and is certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. She has occupational therapy clinical experience in settings including early and middle childhood education, community rehabilitation, hospital acute care and skilled nursing. She has a strong foundation for working with families, children and youth from her employment background. She has a deep understanding of human development across the lifespan. She believes in clear communication and collaboration with clients and caregivers, along with using evidence based research approaches.
Claire grew up outside of Cleveland, Ohio. She moved to Portland after college for several years, and then moved to Chicago to obtain her masters degree. She happily returned to Portland after graduating. In her free time she enjoys exploring the outdoors, swimming and spending time with her dog.
